FY2027 Area Plan Cycle: Louisiana Needs Assessment Survey Results and Aging Data
As part of its 4 year Area Plan gathers public data and the 2026 Statewide Needs Assessment in one place so each Area Agency on Aging can see where older adults’ needs are greatest in its planning and service area (PSA). Use these tools to build the needs assessment section of your area plan and to set goals that target unmet need.

Every figure is shown next to the Louisiana average. An Areas of Greatest Need list highlights the regions where the need or interest exceeds the statewide statistic for that metric. You can also click any parish on the map, compare all 34 PSAs side by side, and, for agencies that serve several parishes, see each parish’s figures.

Want to view just the report for your PSA and be able to print it, email it, or submit it with your Area Plan?
A ready-made, printable profile for each of Louisiana’s 34 planning and service areas, plus a statewide summary. Each two-page profile covers your PSA’s key figures, its areas of greatest need, what residents said, and a full table of indicators compared with Louisiana. Profiles for agencies that serve several parishes include a third page comparing each parish. Download your agency’s profile to attach to your area plan or share with your board and partners.
